1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

- Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. Matt. 26:38

- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

- Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Pet. 5:7

2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

- For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Heb. 11:10

- But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Heb. 11:16

- And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Rev. 21:2

3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

- Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. John 17:24

- For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Phil. 1:23

- Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thess. 4:17

4. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

- Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. John 6:68

- I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9

- I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. John 16:28

5. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

- Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. John 13:36

- The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. John 20:25

- Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. Heb. 5:11

6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

- And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. Isa. 35:8

- Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

- By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Heb. 10:20

7. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

- Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. John 8:19

- Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: Heb. 1:3

8. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

- And he said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory. Ex. 33:18

- The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: Num. 6:25

- He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. Job 33:26

9. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

- And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. John 12:45

10. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

- For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. John 12:49

- At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. John 14:20

- That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. John 17:21

11. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

- But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. John 5:36

- Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. John 10:25

- But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. John 10:38

12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

- Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. Matt. 21:21

- And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; Mark 16:17

- And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. Acts 5:12

13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

- Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24

- If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

- And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 1 John 5:14

14. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

- And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Acts 7:59

- And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1 John 3:22

- He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Rev. 22:20

15. If ye love me, keep my commandments.

- If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:10

- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 1 John 4:20

- For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3

16. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

- Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 16:7

- And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:4

- My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 1 John 2:1

17. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

- Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:13

- Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Rom. 8:26

- But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor. 2:14

18. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

- Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Ps. 23:4

- For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matt. 18:20

- Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matt. 28:20

19. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

- As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. John 6:57

- Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. John 7:33

- A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. John 16:16

20. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

- But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. John 10:38

- That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. John 17:21

- I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. John 17:23

21. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

- Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway. Deut. 11:1

- If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:10

- But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 1 John 2:5

22. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

- And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor. Luke 6:16

- And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true. John 10:41

- Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. John 14:19

23. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

- I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Prov. 8:17

- Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1 Cor. 3:16

- That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, Eph. 3:17

24. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

- Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. John 7:16

- For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. John 12:49

25. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

- Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. John 13:19

- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John 15:11

- I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. John 16:12

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

- But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. Mark 13:11

- Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:13

- But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:27

27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

- These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

- Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Rom. 5:1

- And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:7

28. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

- My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. John 10:29

- And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3

- And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 1 Cor. 15:28

29. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

- I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them. Isa. 48:5

- Behold, I have told you before. Matt. 24:25

- Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. John 13:19

30. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

- Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. John 12:31

- Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Eph. 2:2

- And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 1 John 5:19

31. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

- No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. John 10:18

- When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples. John 18:1

- And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Phil. 2:8
