↥ John 3NT with xrefs 1. There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: - Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? John 3:10 - Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) John 7:50 - And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. John 19:39 2. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. - These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue. John 9:22 - If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. - Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. Job 14:4 - For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Rom. 8:5 - This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Gal. 5:16 7. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 1:15 - And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. John 1:34 27. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. - Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
