Isa. 35:5 - Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. John 9:32 - And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Acts 3:2 2. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? - Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; Ex. 20:5 - Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. - The soul that sinneth, it shall die. Deut. 32:3 - And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me. Josh. 7:19 - Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 1 Pet. 2:22 25. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. - He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. - For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is. - And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. Ex. 33:11 - Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is. John 7:27 - Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes. - For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. Isa. 9:16 - And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. Isa. 29:18 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? John 3:10 31. Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. - If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: Ps. 66:18 - The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. Prov. 15:29 - Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings. Mic. 3:4 32. Matt. 23:16 - And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Rom. 2:21 - Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Rev. 3:17 41. Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. - Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him. Prov. 26:12 - Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
