Luke 13:1 - Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover. John 18:28 2. And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King. - And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die. 1 Kings 21:10 - Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars. Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing. - But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth. Ps. 38:13 - He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Luke 23:11 - And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. Luke 23:41 - For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Heb. 4:15 16. I will therefore chastise him, and release him. - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them. - When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. Matt. 27:19 - Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. Matt. 27:22 - And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. John 19:12 21. But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. - When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him. John 19:6 - But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. John 19:15 - Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36 22. And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. - Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. Ps. 22:12 - My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword. Ps. 57:4 - And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place. Luke 23:5 24. And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required. - Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment: Ex. 23:2 - He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD. Prov. 17:15 - When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha. John 19:13 25. And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will. - Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified. Matt. 27:26 - And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! Matt. 27:29 - And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified. Mark 15:15 26. And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus. - And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross. Mark 15:21 - And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the LORD Jesus. Acts 11:20 - Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. Acts 13:1 27. And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. - Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. Jer. 31:15 - And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: Matt. 27:55 - And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. Luke 8:52 28. But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. - I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. - The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us. They answered and said, Caesar's. Luke 20:24 - This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. John 19:20 - Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. John 19:21 39. And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. - And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, Matt. 27:39 - And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Matt. 27:40 - I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Luke 17:34 40. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? - Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. - And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. Ps. 31:5 - When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. John 19:30 - And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Acts 7:59 47.
