And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, - The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. - When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isa. 43:2 - But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened. - O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance. Isa. 63:17 - And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
