1. And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

- And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? Matt. 21:23

- And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, Luke 21:5

- Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? John 2:20

2. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

- Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people: 1 Kings 9:7

- And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Dan. 9:26

- Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest. Mic. 3:12

3. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

- And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? Dan. 12:6

- And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, Mark 13:3

- And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. Acts 1:7

4. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

- For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. Jer. 29:8

- Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Col. 2:8

- Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thess. 2:3

5. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

- Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. Jer. 14:14

- For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matt. 24:24

- Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1 John 2:18

6. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

- Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. Ps. 27:3

- A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Ps. 91:7

- That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 2 Thess. 2:2

7. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

- And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity. 2 Chron. 15:6

- And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. Isa. 19:2

- And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar. Acts 11:28

8. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

- And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. Lev. 26:18

- Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. Deut. 28:59

- For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1 Thess. 5:3

9. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

- If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. John 15:19

- They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. John 16:2

- Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Rev. 2:10

10. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

- Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. Mic. 7:5

- And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. Matt. 10:21

- Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. Matt. 13:21

11. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matt. 7:15

- For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matt. 24:24

- But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 Pet. 2:1

12. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

- For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 2 Tim. 3:2

- Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Rev. 2:4

- So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Rev. 3:16

13. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

- And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matt. 10:22

- For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; Heb. 3:14

- Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Rev. 2:10

14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matt. 28:19

- But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. Rom. 10:18

- And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Rev. 14:6

15. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

- And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Dan. 9:27

- And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. Dan. 11:31

- And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Dan. 12:11

16. Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

- And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. Gen. 19:17

- He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses: Ex. 9:20

- A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. Prov. 22:3

17. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

- And when they were come down from the high place into the city, Samuel communed with Saul upon the top of the house. 1 Sam. 9:25

- Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Matt. 6:25

- On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: Acts 10:9

18. Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

- And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. Gen. 39:18

- If thou at all take thy neighbor's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down: Ex. 22:26

- These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise. Ezek. 27:24

19. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

- And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee: Deut. 28:53

- And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth. 2 Sam. 4:4

- For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. Luke 23:29

20. But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

- See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. Ex. 16:29

- And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. John 10:22

- When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter. Titus 3:12

21. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

- And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Dan. 12:1

- A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. Joel 2:2

- And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Rev. 7:14

22. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

- And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there. Isa. 65:9

- And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? Luke 18:7

- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Rom. 8:28

23. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

- Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deut. 13:3

- And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. Luke 17:23

- And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. Luke 21:8

24. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

- Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2 Thess. 2:9

- Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1 John 2:18

- And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. Rev. 13:14

25. Behold, I have told you before.

- Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. Isa. 44:8

- I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them. Isa. 48:5

- And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. John 14:29

26. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

- The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Isa. 40:3

- In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, Matt. 3:1

- That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 2 Thess. 2:2

27. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

- He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. Job 37:3

- Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are? Job 38:35

- And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. Isa. 30:30

28. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

- The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; Deut. 28:49

- Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she. Job 39:30

- Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat. Hab. 1:8

29. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

- For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. Isa. 13:10

- The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: Joel 2:10

- And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: Amos 8:9

30. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

- I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. Dan. 7:13

- And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Matt. 24:3

- Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Rev. 1:7

31. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

- The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; Matt. 13:41

- In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Cor. 15:52

- For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thess. 4:16

32. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

- And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. Gen. 3:7

- And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. Gen. 8:11

- And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. Mark 11:13

33. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

- For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Heb. 10:37

- Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. James 5:9

- But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 1 Pet. 4:7

34. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

- Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. Matt. 12:45

- Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Matt. 16:28

- Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. Matt. 23:36

35. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

- The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Isa. 40:8

- For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matt. 5:18

- But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. 1 Pet. 1:25

36. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

- Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matt. 25:13

- And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. Acts 1:7

- For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thess. 5:2

37. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

- And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. Gen. 7:23

- By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Heb. 11:7

- And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 2 Pet. 2:5

38. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

- That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. Gen. 6:2

- And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Gen. 7:7

- For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Matt. 22:30

39. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

- And there came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore: but they knew not that evil was near them. Judg. 20:34

- For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thess. 5:2

- For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 2 Pet. 3:5

40. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

- And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. Ex. 11:5

- And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. Matt. 10:21

- And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. Luke 23:39

41. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

- And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. Ex. 11:5

- Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. Isa. 47:2

- Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thess. 4:17

42. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

- Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36

- Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 1 Cor. 16:13

- Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 1 Thess. 5:6

43. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

- For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thess. 5:2

- But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2 Pet. 3:10

- Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Rev. 16:15

44. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

- For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matt. 24:27

- And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Matt. 25:10

- Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matt. 25:13

45. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

- His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matt. 25:21

- For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Matt. 25:35

- Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. 1 Cor. 4:2

46. Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

- Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matt. 25:34

- Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. Luke 12:37

- I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Rev. 2:19

47. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

- And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Dan. 12:3

- His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matt. 25:21

- And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: Rev. 2:26

48. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

- Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Eccles. 8:11

- For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. Isa. 32:6

- The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Pet. 3:9

49. And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

- Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant. Isa. 56:12

- And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. Zech. 13:6

- And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Eph. 5:18

50. The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

- Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matt. 24:42

- For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thess. 5:2

- Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Rev. 3:3

51. And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

- This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God. Job 20:29

- The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? Isa. 33:14

- But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matt. 8:12
